I read Big Damn Hero slowly, to savor having a new Firefly adventure, but now it's finished, so on to a non-fiction... this looks interesting!

This "upstairs downstairs" #autobiography is perfect for Downton Abbey fans. Rose (a poor girl from Yorkshire) spent 35 years as lady's maid to Lady Nancy Astor, the American-born socialite who became the first female Member of Parliament. This book is now republished with a pretty new cover but I like this old one I found (a 1975 review copy with a copy of the review and other stuff tucked inside). Check out Rose's specs! #ReadJanuary
