KathyWheeler When I first saw an interview with him, I couldn‘t figure out (and still can‘t) all the hype surrounding him. He comes off to me as shallow and boring, without anything of real depth to say. 7y

Riddled with the same predictable hypocrisies, suspect anecdotes, cherry-picked information, and "I am rubber, you are glue" arguments that pervade politics these days, Yiannopoulous's book proves he is something far worse than dangerous; he's boring.

Lexeegee I lost 2 when I first posted I was reading it. I agree, reading is about exploring new things. I have read many books with viewpoints different from my own and I always learn something. 7y

Librarianaut I think people who vehemently self sensor often miss an opportunity to support their own views, in addition to possibly learning something new. Also...know thine enemy! (If one considers the author their enemy). It's why I read news from a *wide* variety of sources!! 7y

MrBook It's ironic that hardcore bibliophiles would unfollow someone because of a book. That's a head-scratcher. I wonder if they're the same people who promote the awesome banned books and diverse books programs. @Librarianaut articulated it very well. (edited) 7y
