Lightspeed Magazine, Issue 73 (June 2016, People of Colo(u)r Destroy Science Fiction! Special Issue) | 
It was chow mein again this morning, alongside a novella by Samuel R. Delany. I‘ve gotta say, I was a touch dismayed when I saw how long this story was since I bounced off two of Delany‘s novels, HARD—but I‘m loving “Empire Star.” It‘s convinced me to give him another try.
It‘s a pain day, so no cooked breakfast with my daily short story.
Then I drank a delicious Newcastle Brown Ale while I cooked dumplings (not pictured) and read another story from this excellent special issue.
Throwback to yesterday morning, when I read another excellent story and ate a banana crepe with Nutella. This is shaping up to be my favourite of all the Destroy SF! special issues.
Friends, I‘ve finally reached the last issue in my ginormous Lightspeed stack! Only took me six years from that first influx of Kickstarter perk back issues.
I read the first story in PEOPLE OF COLOUR DESTROY SF! over supper last night, and it was great. Bring on the rest.
