I tried... I gave it 3 chapters in the book and then more than 2 hours in audio, but this is not happening for me. I think this is only the 3rd book I have EVER bailed on. I love Ancient Rome, but maybe I shouldn‘t have peeked at reviews calling it a great Christian novel. 😳

My first #1001books and #LitsyClassics bail, too. Now I don‘t have a Q! 😞

#Epic for an impressionable 14 year old that I was when I read this. I still remember most of it, although I read it literally half my life ago. I wonder what I'd think now?

I have read this book, probably more than 20 years ago ... I can't remember the exact content, and despite that, I know that I like it and it's recommend read for all ancient history lovers.
