Foretelling of Georgie Spider: The Tribe Book 3 | Ambelin Kwaymullina
6 posts | 3 read
Past, present, and future come to a head for Ashala and her friends in a heart-stopping, deeply satisfying conclusion to the Tribe series. Georgie Spider has foretold the end of the world, and the only one who can stop it is Ashala Wolf. But Georgie has also foreseen Ashala s death. As the world shifts around the Tribe, Ashala fights to protect those she loves from old enemies and new threats. And Georgie fights to save Ashala. Georgie Spider can see the future but can she change it? In the third and final book of the thrilling Tribe trilogy, author Ambelin Kwaymullina draws inspiration from the people, lands, and history of her native Australia to deliver a powerful saga about respect for others and the earth."

I absolutely loved this final piece to Ashala‘s story! What a wonderful, satisfying ending!

Sitting in the car while my husband drives is the best time to read a book. 👍🏻😍

I read the first two books in this series a couple of years ago and enjoyed them vastly. They are dystopian fantasy books, set in a post-semi-apocalypse future of Australia, full of satisfying and unexpected twists. This has been out in the US for over a year and my library still doesn‘t have it. I should request that they order it… or just buy it myself. But I won‘t have to if I win it in the #YAWednesday giveaway! Thanks, @TheFunkyBookworm !

This was the final in The Tribe trilogy by Ambelin Kwaymullina of the Palyku people of Western Australia. A dystopian series great for older teens. Kwaymullina also wrote one of my favourite children's books - The Two-hearted Numbat.

#2017MostAnticipatedBooks: This is the only book I know of that I'm anticipating for next year! It came out last year in Australia so @earlgreyediting has already read it, but it looks like it's slated for US publication in May.

earlgreyediting Yay! I'm so glad it's getting an overseas release. 8y
shanaqui I've noticed a couple of interesting books that only had an Aussie release, over time! I must look at more current stuff; it's interesting that so little seems to get on my radar. 8y
