Serbian classic. Strong and mixed feelings after reading this one. It is about life of a dervish, who lives life by God's laws but his life takes an unexpected turn when his brother gets imprisoned. He tries to help his brother and then society shows it's true face, letting his naivety and innocence die painfully, which makes him feel dissapointed and he discovers hate. It is weird how life can escape from us if we don't make a right choice.

Sorry guys for my absence, I had a lot to study these days. Love this qoute:

"This feeling of pride is beautiful, it protects us from remorse."

Hope you guys are all fine and have fun time reading ?

"You can't catch the whole sea with a jug, but what you caught with it is also the sea. "

P. S. Sorry if I butchered it with translation.

I made myself traditional turkish coffee and started reading. And then I read this:
"I am forty years old, an ugly age: one is still young enough to have
dreams, but already too old to fulfill any of them."
I hope that is not true. I love dreams. But I also like this book for now. Oh, and I am reading serbian version. Sounds much better in original language.

A man isn't a tree, and beinh settled in one place is his misfortune. It saps his courage, breaks his confidence. When a man settles down somewhere, he agrees to any and all of its conditions, even the disagreeable ones, and frightens himself with the uncertainty that awaits him. Change to him seems like abandonment, like a loss of an investment: someone else will occupy his domain, and he'll have to begin again.
