This book was a series of short stories with some of the characters from one story showing up briefly in some of the others. Primarily middle and high school kids - honestly it made me glad after reading this that I don't have a school aged child. I enjoyed a few of the stories but not all which is reflected in the rating.

Awful amateur and immature writing. And all the stories seemed to blend together and be about the same things. It felt very repetitive. I wanted to like it because I am a huge James Franco fan. This was a true disappointment.

The stories were captivating and have such depth. The only criticism I have is that I feel the stories would have worked better as separate entities rather than having characters that weave together throughout all the stories. I definitely don't know why this collection has such bad reviews. It's controversial with a message, not vulgar for vulgarity's sake.

On to the next on my TBR!

For today's theme #weirdbooks I chose Palo Alto. It was way too weird/gross for me and the characters are butt heads. I bailed ✌🏻️#somethingforsept #themoviewasbetter 🤗

A little underwhelming.

Reading soooo many ebooks/audiobooks to get them out of the way. 😫 I can't wait to be back to paper.
