Interesting memoir of actor and star who was raised by hippie parents in poverty and was the granddaughter of the great actor Melvyn Douglas. She went on to be in many films and other projects and was influenced by her boyfriend, Martin Scorsese, and others. I enjoyed it. She is also quite a film buff like me.

Started to read this at my library where I work so I had to check it out. Found out this actress is related to Melvyn Douglas.

I love a good celebrity memoir and absolutely adore Ileana Douglas.

Illeana Douglas is the granddaughter of movie star Melvyn Douglas. An actress herself, she has been around Hollywood her whole life. This funny autobiography will appeal to fans of movies old and new.

Disappointing. I enjoy Illeana in so many films (particularly "Grace of my Heart") but this wasn't about her life, her loves or even her craft. Just those that she has met and worked with in the span of her acting career. Came across as fawning instead of engrossing.
