Hard SciFi which actually forced me to look up some science stuff I wasn't really conversant with. I love when that happens!
Quite interesting ideas, involving physics and earth science and sociology. I'm looking forward to more in the series.
pickI loved this book. I listened to it (on recommendation) and the narration was indeed excellent. It‘s only a little difficult to grok the hard SF info dumps while driving! 😂 They were few and far between and actually not tedious as that sort of info in a novel can be sometime. No, this book had an excellent balance of Hard and Soft SF elements. There were some shocking things that happen and really a lot to think about. Definitely one to reread.
I started a new audiobook. This was recommended to me and I‘ve read other fiction by Kress that I have really enjoyed. So far it has all the elements of a great Social Science Fiction story.
