I miss the theatre. This pandemic, I‘ve been reading plays. When this is over, I‘m doubling my effort to support performing arts again. This is a nice companion piece to Matt Haig‘s The Midnight Library. “You‘re six years old. Mum‘s in hospital. Dad says she‘s done ‘something stupid‘. She finds it hard to be happy. Quarantined and aiming for some uplifting reads this month. 💙

I saw this play in 2019 and was blown away by the audience interaction and the blend of comedy and drama. I loved being able to read the stage directions and examples of what the original actor did. During this strange quarantine it was good to read a collection of random beautiful things. I‘ll revisit this one again. #readathon
