#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER High-powered, intricately wrought suspense.Janet Maslin, The New York Times Hold on tight. . . . This novel will give you whiplash as you rabidly turn pages. . . . May be [Lee Childs] best.USA Today New York City. Two in the morning. A subway car heading uptown. Jack Reacher, plus five other passengers. Four are okay. The fifth isnt. And if you think Reacher isnt going to get involved . . . then you dont know Jack. Susan Mark, the fifth passenger, had a big secret, and her plain little life was being watched in Washington, and California, and Afghanistanby dozens of people with one thing in common: Theyre all lying to Reacher. Gone Tomorrow was a bit of a roller coaster. Some parts were tedious. Others were exciting and/or interesting. It's definitely not my favorite of the installments I've read so far.

Usually enjoy this series, but never really got into this one, or was particularly interested in the story it told. We can all have an off book I suppose.

I love the Jack Reacher series...this one just didn‘t stand up to the previous installments for me. Still great writing and story telling by Lee Child. I just don‘t get into the political and war related stuff. Over all, a worthwhile read. #MountTBR

Love the Jack Reacher series. This was another great, action packed installment.

KellyKate I used to love them also until Tom Cruise was cast- now when I try to read a Reacher book all I see is Tom Cruise- and that's not right on so many levels. 8y
AnnieReads @KellyKate LOL! I hear you on that but I suppose since it was Tom Cruise's production company he could take the starring role. 8y
