I have an idea for a swap and I‘m looking for someone to cohost it with me. I‘ve never hosted a swap before so I‘m not sure what the level of work/involvement of the hosts is on the back end of things. We are possibly moving this summer so I‘m not sure how involved I could be when the actual swap happens or if there could be a shorter suspense time and be finished out by the end of May? Anyone interested in helping a gal out? @LitsySwaps
LibrarianRyan I think it might be a good idea for you to wait until you can fully commit yourself to your swap. 7y
LitsySwaps Thanks for reaching out. While we are happy to provide tips or advice for swap hosts, we don‘t host swaps for people. Hosting a swap is a lot of work and quite time consuming. It is particularly busy around opening time. This is due to the fact that we often have to follow up with missing packages or people who go MIA before mailing. Many hosts step in to help replace missing packages so there is often time & money involved in hosting a swap 👇🏼 (edited) 7y
LitsySwaps We think that if you can‘t be a fully dedicated swap host because of moving or other things, then it‘s best to wait until things are settled down for you before you tackle hosting a swap. We hope this is helpful.. 7y
