This graphic novel about a flying saucer crash-landing in a world run by two mega corporations works as sci-fi, a thriller, and social commentary.

No words, just really fun characters (including aliens and robots) and some beautifully colourful illustrations. #graphicnovels

Odd, unsettling wordless sci fi graphic novel about two warring corporations who will stop at nothing to destroy each other. I can't pretend I understood everything that was going on--having an actual written narrative would have helped, but the fact that it was wordless gave it an extra eerie oomph. Very Michael DeForge-ian.

It was a beautiful day today, though I spent it cleaning the old place, seeing Larry Wilmore (!!!) speak, and doing more chores. The sun is now about to set, it's...well...wintertime, and it's just chilly enough to not be able to read #outside. But I do look forward to the green coming back and spending quality time on my porch swing with a book come spring. #riotgrams

Is it weird that the best word I can think of for this one is "haunting"? Whatever, it's true.

MrBook Interesting cover. 8y
