pickThis is MY FAVORITE BOOK EVER! Sebastian and Linny are amazing examples of what high schoolers are really like and how their emotions waver. It‘s such a heart wrenching book with Àlvaro and his ending tore me apart because it reminds me of my Grandfather. The book made me believe that even the smallest things could lead you on adventures and force you to step outside your comfort zone. Truly a classic in my eyes.
pickProps for the author describing loss like your life going from color to black and white...how color sometimes seeps in and surprises you. Also about finding your wings ...your way in life. Beautifully written.
pickThis was my Adults reading YA book club pick. I really enjoyed it! It is set in the summer in Miami and was the perfect end to the summer read. I have never read anything by Carlie Sorosiak, but I found her style to be delightful!

pickA bit of a slow start but #IfBirdsFlyBack ended with great plot and character development. I'm glad the romance (while an important aspect) doesn't overshadow the characters' individual stories!
