pickSecond book in Ten Beach Road series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
GOOD: Same characters that I grew to like are back, & while they grew, no unbelievable personality shifts. Had a little bit of a mystery going on as a subplot. Easy read with some quote-worthy lines.
BAD: Sometimes the book doesn‘t seem to know what it wants to be; beach read, romance, mystery? Lots of swearing from a secondary character; fits her but be forewarned.
The smell of coffee wafted up, crooked an aromatic finger, and drew her out of bed.
Love this! I always think coffee smells better than it tastes too 😂😂
One of the main characters has an obsession with Cheez Doodles. Looks like someone who had this library book before I did decided to have a literary-influenced snack!
