Pickpick

As I do sometimes, I walked down the row of library books with eyes closed & my finger running against the spines. When called to stop, I take the book my finger is on. This was a wonderful surprise. Ironically it takes place on Valentine‘s Day! The story of a marriage, potentially at its end. It was spot on outlining grievances and desires of both parties. A short and powerful novel. The author is new to me & I‘ll be looking for more of his work.

LauraBeth I like your method! 📚 6y

LibrarianToujours The Dartmouth library removed all book jackets so going to the fiction section and just picking a title was always fun. It was before smartphones too so no cheating that way 😉 6y
Jeg What a great way to pick a book. I‘m going to try it ne t time I‘m at the library. 6y
keithmalek I enjoyed his novel Last Night at the Lobster. I was a waiter in my early twenties, and he captured that nightmare particularly well. 6y
