It was not my choice to be childless, but this book helped me to be okay with it. I am now (mostly) content to not have children thanks to the perspective of this #nonfiction choice. #child #readingresolutions @Jess7

The very fact that I was able to read this book in one go (with just a small nap) is evidence that the freedom of no children is a blessing.
I am glad I picked up this book. If I had any lingering regrets or sadness about not having children, they are gone now. I can relate to so much of what was discussed. I recognize that I value silence and the ability to choose how I spend my day. I can always hold other people's babies.
"Anyone who wishes to contribute to this debate should recognise that there is as large a difference between 'childfree' and 'childless' as there is between choosing to close your eyes and being born blind. Martin, Dorchester"
5 years ago, I would have called myself childless. Now, I feel I lean more toward the childfree description. Time and life experiences have certainly changed my perspective.
It's more fun being an Aunt...
My child - free status isn't necessarily by choice, but I certainly enjoy many of the freedoms it allows. Curious to explore the reasons others prefer this lifestyle.
