bailedI seriously just could not finish it. I have a soft spot for books about kids in bad situations, but this was unbearable. It was extremely repetitive and was probably the worst written book I‘ve read. There is too much telling and not enough showing.
so-soI got sucked in really quickly, but man, the ending leaves much to be desired. I kept thinking (hoping!) all of these horrible moments would open to a happy ending. It seemed like a lot of it was written from a furious teenager who couldn‘t sequence her thoughts. Started reading this book the other day- already hooked. Haven‘t read any summaries or anything other day the BookBub blurb, so it‘s exciting to read a book that I have no expectations of, or information about. Let‘s see how it turns out!
