Be your own sugar daddy!
A lot of the information is self-explanatory. The problem is that we often know what to do and fail to act on it. Provides great insights on how women and girls can be each others cheerleaders or well-wishers. A great look at the gender biases as we view others and ourselves.
I️ really liked the idea behind this book, but for something that was supposed to be strong in feminist ideas, I️ felt like some of it was a bit stereotypical. I️ just feel like the author could have done more to make this message something that all women can relate to, not just the ones who lust over Chanel bags and champagne.
I spy booooks! Everyone thought it was a terrible idea to put books in the raffle basket for my work's networking event. 😭 I hope people end up liking it...I guess bibliophiles are a rare breed anymore?
You can tell I was involved in putting together the raffle basket for work when there are books in it. 😂
Nobody will notice if this doesn't make it to the event, right? (Kidding!)
This was a mostly inspiring read, definitely left me with some pearls of wisdom. I don't know if I ended up with an ARC by accident, (bought online) but there were a fair number of pretty glaring typos and editorial mistakes that really took me out of the whole, I'm a badass businesswoman who's here to give you advice, thing. But otherwise, I liked it.
