I had great hopes for this book at my first #netgalley read and review, but in the first 50 pages alone, I discovered several scientific errors and (gasp!) spelling mistakes. After the author referred to a rattlesnake's glands as POISON glands ( they are venom glands - big difference), my brain had a hard time believing anything else. I'm a scientist. The tone is conversational, but almost too much. I felt like I was reading a Ted Talk.
