So creepy! I was on the edge of my seat during the trial, wondering how these real life events turned out.

Mehso-so

Feel pretty ‘Meh‘ about this one. The writing was pretty meandering and it seemed like this tried to be similar to The Devil in the White City with chapters about the killer and others about what France was like under Nazi rule but I don‘t think it was done as well. It was confusing, it dragged and often repeated itself and the “solving” of the crime at the end wasn‘t satisfying. I‘m glad to be done with it. #ReadYourSign #15books15weeks

RainyDayReading @keithmalek He was killing regular people, some of whom were trying to escape the Nazis. 4y
keithmalek Oh, okay. In that case, I'm not interested. 4y

My brain feels like mush. Suffering from social media/news overload and just a general sick feeling. Going to see how much of this I can read before I fall asleep.

My #Booked2019 pick for a #newtomeauthor. I don't normally choose historical nonfiction, but this one was definitely worth a read.

Super happy with my progress on this challenge. As a slow reader who doesn't always choose reading over tv or mindlessly staring at my phone, Litsy has definitely upped my reading time. :)

alisiakae Litsy has a way of doing that! 😊 6y

I'm enjoying this so far. Must be honest and admit I didn't realize it was non-fiction when a student passed it on. I am enjoying it more since this revelation.

I've finally finished this one. It was a long read for me...some parts dull and some parts extremely interesting. I think it was so long because it was more of fact stating than storytelling.
