After a week that‘s given me more grey hairs than I choose to acknowledge, a heart racing wait for captains approval (Air India hand carry is 100% at the discretion of the captain), midnight flight during which Dini did not stop crying and a mid-airport transfer from these soft cabin carriers to hard crates, BOTH KITTIES ARE SAFE IN SINGAPORE!!!! (They‘re in Quarantine, we visit tomorrow. After I wake up. Sleep now!).

Okay this is not book related but I needed to share. I love my dog but he has the bladder of a pregnant old lady. I also love my couch, she lets me sit and read on her. So I need to protect my two loved things from each other. Hence for 2 year I put a gate around my couch when I leave. And today, weeks before I move, the dog pulled a Houdini and got on the couch with 0 signs of a struggle. He did however get stuck there till I got home...
