so-soMeh. I‘ve read one other Michaels and felt the same - I thought this was supposed to be spooky and thrilling and chilling, but it was all pretty bland. Minor romantic elements, small amount of academia, but meh. And a very early-90s focus on feminism (in academia and otherwise) that was actually really obnoxious. Not terrible but disappointing.
