Meh. Not bad but not great. The main characters annoyed me, the mystery was interesting and I enjoyed the ghostly aspects but I guessed who the murderer was fairly early on and honestly the book felt like it was building up to something and ultimately tripped and fell flat on its face. I could not get past the characters in this book, I positively despised Bernie.

Such a cute little Halloween cozy. I liked the slight paranormal element and how it didn‘t overrun the main plot. The only downside is that this definitely would have been better had I read the other books in the series first (sometimes with cozies you really don‘t need to). But I don‘t really mind. Reading my new book with this neat bookmark I cut myself on the Silhouette machine (that I forced my hubby to buy me for my birthday 😂). I really love it.
