This was an enjoyable enough read, but it just didn't live up to my expectations based on how amazing the first in the series was. I've already bought the other two, and this one wasn't SO far off the mark that I have given up hope on the others, so I'll keep going.

Pickpick

I love this series so far, set in South Africa in the 1950s when the racial segregation laws were just being put into place. This one wasn't quite as good as the first one to me, just a little too twisty, but I'll definitely be picking up the next one. Image of author from web.
