#BookMail Pt10 I‘m loving these editions of Susan Hills work, this is only a novella but it‘s gorgeous! It matches the green Woman In Black beautifully. A mysterious manuscript ends up on the step-son of Dr Hugh Merediths desk. It tells a story of what occurred when his step father was a junior doctor, an event that haunted him for the rest of his life.
pickA fine read for a Halloween evening. Nice and quick as well as being suitably chilling with lots of nods to 19thC gothic too.
