pickThis is such a sweet coming of age novella. I really enjoyed the stream of consciousness writing style. As a reader, you felt included in every thought process of teenager Owen, as he struggles to decide what's next after he graduates school.

I found this novella on Scribd. It‘s a coming of age story for Owen, who‘s seventeen and trying to figure out his place in the world.
It did feel a bit dated, and it‘s a very simple, slight tale but I still kind of liked it. A soft pick.

pickRead this tiny little thing in one sitting the other day. It was my first introduction to Ursula K. Leguin, and I definitely wanna read more of her work. This was a short and simple read but entertaining none the less.
pickFound this at a library sale - hard to resist a $2 first edition Le Guin. It's from 1976, a slim #ya story about a boy who is negotiating becoming the person he wants to be (a scholar/scientist) and fitting in and being "normal." There is something dated about it, a certain afterschool special earnestness, but the characters and their struggles felt honest and real. My first Le Guin. Very realistic so not sure how it compares with her other work.
