The quality of the writing was very good and a pleasant surprise. I loved the characters and the author gives the reader just the right mix of character development and world building. Add to this a solid, well thought out plot and I hurried through this in one day. Granted it was only 257 pages. Already working on book 2. 4.5 ⭐️
