The couple in the Korean drama of Hana Yori Dango called Boys Over Flowers.
The story the same or some what changed. I really was annoyed with how the main guy treated the main girl. And she could have done so much better. Yet she kept going back.. 🙄

madamereadsalot1 Oh my gosh!!! I loved this drama! I liked that Jan-di kicked his ass a lot in the beginning, but then, yeah... The going for Jun-pyo midway was a bummer. I would have much preferred her to have picked Ji-hoo. Even though he want exactly perfect either. Just much better 6y
bullbunny @madamereadsalot1 I prefer the original Hana Yori Dango and even the mainland China version, totally different take. But enjoyed those more than this one 6y

bullbunny @madamereadsalot1 Hana Yori Dango is the closest to the manga. Though the second made. I haven't watched the original Taiwan one, too 90s. But HYD has 2 seasons and a movie. And all that in less episodes of BOF if I recall. HYD was my first drama ever 6y
madamereadsalot1 My first drama ever was You're Beautiful. I skipped an entire night of sleep to binge the entire thing. I couldn't stop though, it was so good. Hilarious, cute, just the best. I have a small version of the pig rabbit from the show on my rearview mirror. 6y
bullbunny @madamereadsalot1 I watched You're Beautiful with BOF those two are my first kdramas. I have a keychain and the doll! I have seen the Japan version and the Taiwan version. And the Taiwan one is actually more funny! But I think that is because of Jiro XD 6y
