The story I took to read at the retirement home last week...it‘s surprisingly hard to find short stories that work in that atmosphere, so thank goodness for this one. I read a lot of short story collections but in retrospect, they seem to all contain sex, violence, swearing or social commentary on like, antisemitism, and exactly none of that plays when I‘m reading there
