Mehso-so

Ehhhh. So...Dick Grayson / Robin the Boy Wonder / Nightwing, is now a super spy called agent 37 for some spy group called...wait for it...Spyral. 😐

There were way to many 'Dick' jokes for me to take it seriously. Almost a pan...but there were scattered moments of cool so I'll give it a so-so.

Pickpick

Acrobat turned Robin turned Nightwing turned Agent 37. I don't know much about the DC world, but I'm loving all I've discovered. I find it darker than Marvel, which I kind of like. ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Abby-J That's odd. With the exception of Frank Miller Batman, I've always found D.C. to be much lighter fare than Marvel. I guess it depends which titles you read? 8y
Kristy_K @Abby-J I'm really just starting out with both so I think it probably does depend on the titles. I've read Fantastic Four and The New X-Men of Marvels. What would you recommend in either universe that leans toward the darker side? 8y
Abby-J The first three volumes of Alias (Jessica Jones) are super dark. As is all of Daredevil after the mid eighties. Garth Ennis Punshier is not only dark, but gruesome. The Might Thor (the new one with a female Thor) isn't gritty like the other mentioned titles, but it gets really dark by the second volume. 8y
Abby-J As far as DC, my favorites are the Long Halloween by Jeph Loeb and Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross. 8y
Kristy_K @Abby-J Gives me plenty more to read. Thanks!! 8y
