This is definitely no psychological thriller. It‘s not even a thriller.

It‘s – I give up. I have no words to describe what it is.

It turned out to be quite entertaining after I managed to no longer wait for suspenseful elements or surprises. It‘s a bit like listening to a fairy tale as a grown-up.

If you look for something gripping, don‘t take this one. Weird characters in a transparent plot is mostly nothing a bookworm is longing for.

It “only” 😉 took about 90 minutes (maybe a bit more) but now my current audiobook has finally downloaded completely and – I checked it – plays properly.

Nice that I‘ll have entertainment on my commutes for the rest of this week.

Not only that it‘s one I have difficulties with downloading on my device which means I can‘t listen to the story on my commutes.
It‘s also the story itself. In the marketing blurb it sounded promising but the girl – Blue – naturally is no popular figure. And Stella, oh dear, most of her behaviour and her actions I can‘t understand.

One evening, a girl suddenly stands at her door and asks for admission. Everything in Stella is reluctant but she finally lets her in. She soon regrets it, because the girl starts to tell disturbing stories – and Stella can‘t say if they are true or not but is deeply scared …

What would you do if a young girl knocked on your door and asked for your help?

When Blue appears in the middle of a snow-storm begging to be let in, secrets and lies gradually seep out of the young girl, and Stella‘s tightly controlled world begins to unravel.
