Had a tooth operation yesterday, have a swollen cheek today. 🤕 The only good thing about that? I can stay at home till Friday and can start (and hopefully finish) some of new books of my #tbrlist. Really looking forward to that. 😍 By the way I'm drinking my coffee with a straw! 😂

MariaW @Jas16 Thanks! 😊 8y
LeahBergen The Egyptian is an old favourite of mine! The Oxford Book of Victorian Ghost Stories is great, too. 😀 8y

mjdowens Hope you heal up quick. Better out than in (although I don't think that was to be applied to teeth)😂😂 8y
Graciouswarriorprincess Hope that you have a speedy recovery! Hugs! 8y
MariaW @mjdowens @Graciouswarriorprincess thanks, you two! 😊😊😊 8y
MariaW @LeahBergen Although I've read plenty of books about Egypt in general and a lot of novels taking place there, I've never read Sinuhe before. Seems a bit weird to me since I'm leaving for Egypt in August. I'm really looking forward to read that one. 😊 8y

Currently writing my bachelor thesis. Couldn't be any happier with the topic 👻

CoffeeAndABook What's your topic? I wrote my thesis a few years back & started hating my topic... I kept imagining I'd been smart enough to have picked one I was actually interested in. So I'm glad to hear you're faring better!! 9y
Mamalala13 @CoffeeAndABook I'm writing about the reliability of female narrators in Victorian ghost stories - and I'm done since a few days now :) 9y
