The dying woman’s secret is even more dangerous than her son realized. When Aimée arrives at the hospital, the boy’s mother has disappeared. Pickpick

#booked2019 your happy place prompt. I love the French language, French movies, French painters and photographers, Edith Piaf, French fashion, makeup and perfume. I‘ve always imagined France as my happy place. It‘s #1 on my bucket list of places to visit. This series of mysteries makes me feel like I‘m getting to know different neighborhoods incredibly well with each book. Aimee Leduc is a bit self-absorbed and always getting into trouble.

alisiakae I love your pick for happy place! I love France, too. 😃 6y
BarbaraTheBibliophage Fun! I just downloaded the first one in the series from the library! 6y
Cinfhen Oui ( that‘s pretty much all my French 😜) nice pick 6y
BarbaraTheBibliophage This would work for #femaledetective too! 6y
