Lazy Sunday, I read while he watches football while cuddled under a fuzzy blanket...it works for us 😉.

(I read the full volume, but could only find a pic & listing for the 1st issue.) Was hoping to like this more. How on earth does a comic manage to have sooo much dialogue? It felt like they just wanted to write fanfic, but needed to squish it into a comic book format. The large amount of text squished into the small speech bubbles became tedious to read. The illustrations weren't bad, but didn't resemble either Lumberjanes OR Gotham Academy...?

I think this is going to be a bail-for-now... it was too confusing when I didn't know any of the Gotham Academy characters. So I requested a copy of Gotham Academy from another library and will possible revisit this if I like it 😛

One of my reads for this lazy Sunday. I don't enjoy Gotham Academy as much as Lumberjanes, but so far this crossover has been really fun!

As a crossover, this was a lot of fun. Good little story and definitely entertaining. I think it would have been weaker if it was just a Lumberjanes or Gotham Academy volume though. It is the meeting of the two that is the best bit. Do hope there's some more in the future.
