This was a quick and easy read. Nothing to rush out and buy but a good representation of 7th century Britain and a good palate cleanser after reading about Ted Bundy. I really enjoyed the way the author talked about the old British gods and the transition from that worship to Christianity in one small village.

Georgia and I are finding this to be a pleasant enough light read. Set in 7th century Northumbria, it follows the clash of the old pagan gods and early Christianity, through the lens of a young priest and his counter part, a young medicine woman of the old gods. #historicalfiction #dogsoflitsy
