After getting caught turning wolf on national television, Kitty retreats to a mountain cabin to recover and write her memoirs. Reread. This was pretty good but one storyline (the blood curse) was better than the other (skin walker / Cormac being on trial for murder)... and as this was a reread I knew that there would be a sudden change in the direction of love interests (it‘s possibly the thing I remember most about this book 😂 cause I was (in 2009) pretty unhappy about it - in an I don‘t think I continued the series kind of way) didn‘t bother me as much this time.
