This book started off somewhat interesting and then took some wonky turns. The storyline was ridiculous and the writing got worse toward the end. As a former sorority girl, I thought I might like this, but it was basically garbage.

What a great addition to the Hunger Games trilogy!! I was anticipating this book for a while and hoping it would be as engrossing a read as the trilogy. I was not disappointed!! I would love Collins to write even more books from the HG universe!

However, if you do start crying in an argument and someone asks why, you can always say, "I'm just crying because of how wrong you are.”

A bit much...don‘t get me wrong, I LOVE Ali Wong‘s stand-up. However, I found this book (especially when listened to) to be full of self-serving vulgarity that took away from the genuineness and likability of the book. I just wish she‘d used the P-word less and spoke to her audience (and her daughters) more realistically and less like she has to prove how vulgar she can be.

This was my very first ever audiobook and it was awesome! I absolutely love Trevor Noah and it was so interesting to hear about his childhood and young adulthood in South Africa.

I found the parts about Roma‘s childhood fascinating and heartbreaking. However, as she matures, I found her quite difficult to relate to (or even like). I believe there are so many more touching and eye-opening stories told by other survivors that this one would be a pass he I known what to expect.
