pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Fairytale-esque graphic story about growing and becoming. I. Love. This. Book. The writing is magical, the plot is great and the world was soo twisted - just like I want it. I think I cried once or twice. Probably at the ending. And what a nice ending it was; not your average "happily ever after". #2016
so-so⭐️⭐️⭐️- Recommends for young adult and mermaid-interested. I read this in a day. The prose wasn't great, the characters were meh, and the mystery wasn't exciting. Yet there was still something addictive about this book. Maybe it was the easy-going writing or perhaps the thoughts of the narrator. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it to a 3-star-ish degree.
