After spending too long wandering the shelves of Book Culture 112, I stumbled across a book titled "The Shadow of the Wind." At first, I admittedly ignored it, but on my way out, I saw another copy sitting on a shelf away from the others. It seemed to call me, not unlike what happens to Daniel, (the young protagonist), with Carax's novels in the book. I have to say, I'm absolutely thrilled that it happened, as this is now one of my favorite books!
