Alright Soooooo. Apart from the obvious reason of tension between a certain two characters, I liked this book.
The whole route 66 vibe, the exploration of what happens to hero when he doesn't feel like one and the complexity of relationships was amazing.
It's not AS good as Carry on but it's not bad either. I'd give it a solid 4.3/5.
I'm also really excited for the third one coming on July 6th and also very scared cause I hate endings ¯\(°_o)/¯

Okay so this is lovely
There were many parts where I laughed out loud and also some parts where I cried. The characters (except some haha) are very likeable and by the end of it I was in love with Simon Baz and Penny.
I do think that the relationships between certain characters could have been developed a bit more before a big transition because it did seem a bit abrupt.
Still loved it though and I'm definitely going to read the second one!

Read this one a while ago and it would be criminal to not share that this probably one of the best books I've read in my entire life.
It broke me in so many ways and I cried so so much but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Have you read this masterpiece yet?

I started reading this book because one of my favourite singers harry styles was going to be in the movie for it.
Kept reading because it's absolutely brilliant.
The conflicting emotions, the grey areas, the complex issues, all of it is just BRILLIANT and will definitely make you cry, feel frustrated but also feel love for those characters. Must read. Especially since a movie is coming out very soon! (read it on Kindle)

Let me just say that it's a classic for a reason.
It's a brilliant piece of literature and even with its somewhat morbid undertones, the tragic lovestory rightly earns its standing as one of the best ones in literary history.
I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a classic with equal amounts of love, tragedy, death and beautiful literature to read this piece of art.

I am probably the last person in the world who had not read this until today but oh god wow.
Now that is some real literary art. The one liners and Lord Henry's exhortations are just mind blowing. And the ending, wow.

This, I-
It's long alright, and it can be boring at the start but, you know what, it's really good. The language, the one liners, the depth of the characters, the wah she fluidly sets the backdrop, wow.
I'd recommend it any day.

I'm not really one to read books like this but this one is very interesting and insightful.
It's not biased to the orthodox views that some Indian culture books try to potray.
Good read if you want to learn more about our history.

This was such a short book but it still managed to lock my heart with it.
A great little novel about friendship
The end, oh the end had me in tears at the library but, well this is how it was supposed to happen. But even though it was wholesome, it was heartbreaking. An equal mixture of both.
All in all, it beautiful. So check it out

A book ahead of its time. Warms your heart and soul. And Emma is so relatable at time and other times you just want to shake her up and be like "Girl stop." But the ending is satisfying and really amazing.

Emma | Jane Austen

Such a wholesome and hearty book about this girl Emma who is confident with herself, maybe a little too much which makes her do somethings she's later not proud of. Way ahead of its time and worth a read.
