If you are looking for a book to put you in the Christmas spirit that you can read in one sitting, look no further than A Christmas Carol. It is the perfect book to read in front of the fireplace with a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, eggnog, or whatever else you fancy!

liviakadezabek The story is told in a third-person objective point of view. This means an anonymous voice narrates the novel and we do not get insight into the character's thoughts. Dickens develops this point of view by using pronouns such as “they,” “he,” or “she.”

A motif in Siddhartha is the concept of “Om,” representing the unity of all things in the universe. Om is periodically featured throughout the novel, appearing at times when a change occurs within Siddhartha.
