Book two of my 2017 reading challenge was a screenplay. A quick read. The characters, though not intensively developed, felt authentic. Unlike The Cursed Child (which I wish I could un-read), you can tell this one was written by Rowling. This is her world and her characters. Interested to see how she develops them in books forthcoming. Looking forward to seeing the movie as well. You don't need to be a Potter-head to appreciate this book.

Decided to start a reading challenge for 2017. First up is my non-fiction pick, The Magnolia Story. I love watching Fixer Upper on HGTV and have always been intrigued by Chip and Jo's sweet relationship. This is the story of how they met and how they rose to success both professionally and personally. I could hear their authentic voices in each word I read. I will enjoy the show more now, having learned how they keep they keep the spark alive.

FilipeM I loved watching you read this. You looked happy. 8y
