Not all those who wander are lost
Not all those who wander are lost
“Anoshe was a word for strangers in the street, and lovers between meetings, for parents and children, friends and family. It softened the blow of leaving. Eased the strain of parting. A careful nod to the certainty of today, the mystery of tomorrow. When a friend left, with little chance of seeing home, they said anoshe. When a loved one was dying, they said anoshe."
"Nico, I've seen a lot of brave things. But what you just did? That was maybe the bravest"
Not a lot of people (that I know) have heard of this trilogy, but Bartimaeus is honestly one of the funniest and most sarcastic characters I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. A series that sets place in an alternate version of our reality with magicians and djinn, an absolute recommendation to anyone really.
I started tabbing my books a while ago with a certain colour code and I've been thoroughly enjoying doing it. Do you have a way of tabbing or marking things in your books?
After finishing the unfortunately disappointing The Dragon's Price, I'll be picking up this beauty and reread it though it'll be the first time I read it in English
I honestly can't wait until Obsidio. If you haven't read Illuminae, you should definitely give it a try.
If you're a fan of the Red Queen series, you will like Dividing Eden. Me, I couldn't get into the story and about halfway through was so utterly confused. The world building lacked for me, I saw the plot twist coming and though it wasn't bad necessarily, it wasn't memorable.
Words were different when they lived inside of you.
