Today‘s snow day theme is Ireland. I‘m 100 pages in and LOVING it #booked2019 #irishlit

ErinGoBragh1011 I got this as a BOTM and haven't read it yet but I will! Someday I will also go to Ireland. Maybe when I go, I won't come back to PA 🤔 6y

This book has been on my shelf since the Gilmore Girls reboot. It doesn‘t spend much time on Lauren‘s years on GG, but I loved seeing all the ways her quirky personality influenced one of my favorite TV characters. I might have to revisit the Gilmore Guys podcast now too. #feelingnostalgic it fills my “Related to a Podcast requirement for #booked2019

Cinfhen I can‘t believe I never watched the Gilmore Girls 🙈need to remedy that!!! 6y

I haven‘t been this uncomfortable since reading The Handmaid‘s Tale for the first time. Uncomfortable in a good, challenge your worldview, sort of way.

Everyone should have an Eleanor in their life!

Agnetta My thinking is that on top we all have a bit of Eleanor burried inside 🙂 7y

10/10 recommend, especially for fans of Into the Wild.

I'm loving this reading trend I'm on with books that explore mother-daughter relationships. Lucy Barton, Swing Time, what's next?

There are so many ways to go wrong. All we've got are metaphors, and they're never exactly right. You can never just Say. The. Thing.

...for isn't it only tragic heroes who have no choices before them, no alternative routes, only unavoidable fates?

A story has no beginning or end; arbitrarily one chooses that moment of experience from which to look back or from which to look ahead.
