The trouble is I just got this off the shelf and was excited to read it. Now I'm torn. Argh!

This is my second go at reading this. The first time I abandoned it because I couldn't get past the bad writing. This time though, I must be in a different mood, or more forgiving at least, cause not only did I finish it, but I went out and bought book 2 as soon as I was done. There is something to be said for reading things at the right time.
