What a delightful book! I'm so glad I read The Soul of an Octopus. Every couple of pages introduced me to amazing tidbits about octopuses and marine life, as well as a great group of humans.
Bedtime audiobook. I don't think I'll finish tonight, but I'm loving the narration in this one.
Over the past couple of months, I tore through the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas. I love the world she created with Fae and human characters that are diverse and dynamic. I can't wait for the spinoff series so I can visit this world again.
I'm finally nearing the end of A Feast for Crows. I'm sad we don't hear from Danaerys in this volume. I'm hoping all the bad ass women get together in the next book and conquer the realm. No spoilers, please. I'll get there on my own soon enough.
Listening to Neil Gaiman before bedtime.
"Reading" After You, the audio book, using my public library's e-borrow app. Just three hours left, but so far I like it a lot.
Day 9 of being sick, day 3 with no voice. Looking forward to some quiet reading time. Maybe I'll finally finish the last couple chapters of The "Great Satan" vs. The "Mad Mullahs." #bedtimebook #amreading
New books! I picked these up last week at my step-daughter's bookstore birthday party. Howl by Allen Ginsberg and Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimimanda Ngozi Adichie.
Reading a book about groundbreaking #black #female #aeronautical workers while riding in an airplane. #meta #amreading #publiclybookish
Started reading Hidden Figures for my Bookish Angst online book club with @BlackandBookish I'm up to chapter 7 or 8 now, and I like it a lot.

Snagged this from the little library down the street. I haven't watched the movie yet, so I'm excited to see what all the hype was about.
Reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in the car pool line while waiting to pick up my step-daughter. Still in early pages, but I'm loving it.
I love the feel, weight, and smell of real books. But sometimes I read e-books because of the convenience--like being able to get the next book in a series immediately when you finish one at 2am. And not weighing down a carry-on with multiple books. What do you think?
I like photographing books in book stores. :) And of course I put them back on the shelves when I'm done. I'm not a monster, after all.
When I saw the Word Cloud Classics edition of Jane Eyre at the Tattered Cover bookstore, I had to have it.
