Surprisingly easy to read, this lit gem is both laugh-out-loud funny and heartbreaking, with plot twists that could constantly keep you at the edge of your seat. I rarely pick YA novels these days, but this one tells me I should linger more often in that section of the bookstore again. Thumbs up for a good read!

One of my favorite books of all time, "The Book Thief" reads like an elegiac love letter to one girl's survival, penned fondly by none other than Death himself. I was captivated from the first lines, and it's a masterpiece I'll be happy to reread over and over again. 5/5 stars for an unforgettable experience!
