The first thing we will notice about this book is its length, but it is a beautifully written, heartbreaking, sad, intricately crafted book about Nazi Germany narrated by Death itself. I loved the concept of Death as a story-teller. It is definitely better to read this without knowing too much about the plot. Let the narrator tell you the story and take you along the ride.

The mixed-media elements, the mysterious and dreadful events, and the beautiful writing, make the readers flip through the pages so quickly. This book is definitely creepy and messes with your mind, but at the same time it is one of the best murder-mystery thriller books I have read in a really long time. Perfect read for a rainy day.

pickThe One and Only Ivan is a children's book. This is a story of friendship, freedom and hope. Ivan is an easy-going gorilla who has never been out of his cage. He hardly remembers his family and the jungle. When a baby elephant called Ruby arrives there, Ivan starts seeing things differently. He realises there is life outside the cage and he doesn't want Ruby to end up like him. Inspired by a true story, this is definitely a heart-warming read.

The chapters are really short and that makes it fast paced. I wasn‘t really invested in the mystery in this compared to 'The Girl on the Train'. Within the first 50 pages, there are nearly 9-10 characters. This can be a little overwhelming. If you pick this one without great expectations, you may enjoy it.
I have just started this, and I have never read a book with mixed media(image searches, websites, newspaper articles, evidence details). It is such a great reading experience. This is an adult psychological thriller. Can't wait to dig deep into it.

pickThis book is about a family that almost fell apart and how they were brought together by Enzo. The narrator of the story is the most loyal member of the family - Enzo the dog. We get to know about each family member through Enzo's perspective. The family faces many difficulties and throughout the struggle Enzo stays by their side, understands, and comforts them. There's a little bit about racing too. I really enjoyed reading this.
pickI never saw the end coming but that could just be me. The protagonist, Rachel, struggles a lot to put her life back together after the divorce. She takes the same commuter train daily. As the train stops at the signal, she watches the same couple everyday. Then, one day, she sees something that completely changes her perception and drags her into their lives. Lies, secret, mystery; this book is filled with just the right amount of everything.

pickFangirl is all about opening your heart to new experiences, and dealing with new possibilities. None of the characters are perfect and that's what makes them relatable. I really enjoyed reading it and I will definitely reread it😊
pickWhen you read the synopsis, it sounds rather serious but let me assure you that Anuja Chauhan has taken up an event of historical importance and presented it as an easy, simple and enjoyable read. The story centers around the lives of three IAF officers. Their friendship is portrayed so beautifully. The romance in the book is in such a way that it doesn‘t overpower the story. Overall it was so much fun and a great tribute to our men in uniform.
