The Hobbit | J.R.R. Tolkien

The Hobbit is a great adventure book. It talks about Bilbo Baggins and how his life changed from a normal Hobbit living in his odd circular house to meeting Gandalf and receiving a quest to go on an adventure. Little did he know, this adventure would change his life forever. His quest was to go on an adventure with 13 dwarfs and reclaim their land, and get their power and treasure back from the Dragon in the Lonely Mountain.

Yousif_Darwiche He faces challenges and gained the power of invisibility from a ring. He was able to persevere and finish his quest even after losing some of his companions. If you are interested in adventurous books, this would be a perfect read for you.

The author used a third-person omniscient point of view. We can tell that because the narrator comments on Bilbo Baggins thoughts and feelings, which are relayed back to us by the narrator.

Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes is an excellent book for young readers who are getting into reading. This book talks about Peter, who is a blind kid with quirks fit for a thief. He's got fingers that can pick locks; he is nimble as suggested in the title, and can pick pocket people without them feeling a thing. The only problem this fellow has is that he doesn't have eyes.

Yousif_Darwiche Peter works for Mr. Seamus because he is the only person that took him in. Of course, Mr. Seamus only took him in after watching him steal apples from a stand without a person knowing. In order to continue living with Mr. Seamus, he has to steal money everyday to satisfy him. One day he steals a box from a mysterious man. The box contained 3 pairs of eyes, each one with a different type of power.

Yousif_Darwiche This book has many themes; for example, making your own decisions, not being afraid to change, and exploring the world. In the book, Peter was faced with a choice that would change him. He could either take on the task or saving the world with the powers of the eyes or stay a thief.

If you like books that have a mysterious feel to them and are fantasy fiction, or this book “Game of Thrones,” then this book is a great read for you!
